I got the same problem SoxRule has, maybe its because of which MSF Windows version you have?

Maybe.
I'm running WinXP SP3(?). The "new" link has worked with all 3 browsers I use (Firefox, IE7, and Chrome)

So are we all going back there, or should we keep this board going?

This board seems more dependable, has more features, and will eventually be easier for everyone to use.
But I know the antediluvian Luddites here will opt for WC. Mossbacks.

I don't mind staying here for awhile and giving this board a try. But who posted the link here over at worldcrossing? Now some of those cub fans know where we are and will intrude again. It's been nice and peaceful.

Thanks for the linky, MSF.

I'd rather use this as a back-up.
Thid forum still doesn't know what day it is. Hurrrmph.

But I do like having the Google search feature right on the site. I'm not a fan of all those specialty toolbars so that is great!

It's only a matter of time until WC crashes again.
EDIT: it worked for me just now (albeit very slowly)

This is very annoying - the new button does not take me to the new messages, it takes me to the top of the page with new posts. <stompin feet>

Granted this board has its deficiencies, but it also has some nice features that worldcrossing doesn't have. I like the smilies and other font features built in here, plus on the main page you can tell who's logged in at a certain time. Just wish the New message feature worked a bit better. Sometimes it does take me directly to new messages, sometimes it doesn't.

I'm trying to figure that out too. I think it MIGHT have to do with if I leave the site altogether and come back, then it doesn't work.
I do know that I need to hit the actual "New" button, not just the topic title that follows it.
