Ya know, I do find it funny that while the Cubs have been tanking, the Brewers have not gained any ground. What a bunch of cheeseheads.

The Brewers are in the midst of a terrible collapse. The Cubs have lost 8 of their last 9 games (unreal) and the Brewers have gained, what...maybe a 1/2 game?
I would like to see the Brewers make the playoffs though so I really hope they don't totally tank it. They haven't been to the playoffs since '82 or something like that and I know a couple people from WI that are diehard fans and have never seen the Brewers in the playoffs. After last year's collapse, I hope they make it this year.
I also hope the Phillies win the East from the Mets and the D'back win the West, although they're in the process of collapsing too.

Wow, Ryan Howard hit his 42nd HR today. The next highest is Adam Dunn with 36.

Huge series in the NL starts tonight between Mil and Phi. Anyone think Houston has a chance to win that WC race? What an unbelievable run they've been on, and without Carlos Lee lately too.

Although they're 4-6 in their last 10, you might as well throw the Cardinals in there as well. 4.5 off the wild card.
I don't think there are enough games left for either team to do it. I'm too lazy to do the math, but let's say the Brewers play .500 the rest of the way, etc. . .

Oh yeah, the Cards are definitely in the running as well. That is shaping up to be a very tight race. The Brewers may not even play .500 the rest of the way if they don't get their act together soon.

It's the NL. Even Shoeless could have a decent ERA pitching in that league.

So Shoeless is the pitcher and MSF is the catcher?
(sorry - low hanging fruits there....)
